Place 3-4 layers of plaster cloth on a plastic mask, make each layer as smooth as you can. Then wait for it to dry, which usually takes a day unless you stick it in a microwave or use a hair dryer. Take the dry plaster off of the plastic mask and cut off the extra plaster cloth. For details, like the nose, I use paper mache. It also helps to add a layer of paper mache to the mask and then use sand paper for a much smoother look. I have exacto knives to cut out the eyes. I use acrylic paint to paint these masks and hot glue for the feathers.
